In the Spirit of a Dream:

13 Stories of American Immigrants of Color
Please join us to celebrate the launch of IN THE SPIRIT OF A DREAM written by Aida Salazar and created by Alina Chau. This Eureka Silver Medal winning book is recommended for ages 7-11. Pre-register to save a spot!

Celebratory, triumphant, and inspiring, IN THE SPIRIT OF A DREAM is a tribute to American immigrants of color, written in poems and illustrated by 14 first- and second-generation immigrant artists including Alina Chau, Bianca Diaz, Dion MBD, Fahmida Azim, Gaby D’Alessandro, Jose Ramirez, Ken Daley, Nicole Xu, Paulo D. Campos, Rahele Jomepour Bell, Tracy Guiteau, Vanessa Flores, and Yas Immamura. Edited by Kait Feldman.

Several of these artists will be beaming in to join the conversation with Aida and Alina.

Signed copies of IN THE SPIRIT OF A DREAM  are available from Mrs. Dalloway's.  Orders placed before December 7 can be personalized by Aida as well.  Please include inscription instructions in the comments field at checkout.

This is a free event, though we encourage you to purchase a signed copy of the book through our website and / or to make a donation to support Mrs. Dalloway's virtual events. Be sure to add your contribution before you "Save your Spot". Thank you!
